NETA EMW-202X

Standard for Electrical Maintenance Workers (EMW)

The NETA EMW-202X standard defines the minimum requirements for the qualification of electrical equipment maintenance workers. This includes training and experience prerequisites, along with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform maintenance in alignment with industry best practices.


Developed to support the implementation of NFPA 70B, Standard for Electrical Equipment Maintenance, the NETA EMW-202X standard ensures safety, consistency, and reliability across maintenance practices.


Through the establishment of the NETA EMW-202X standard and the QEMC Program, NETA continues its leadership in supporting the NFPA 70B maintenance requirements and advancing the electrical testing industry.
